Philipp Schröder has rapidly turned the start-up 1Komma5°, founded in 2021, into a unicorn and raised hundreds of millions of US dollars in capital from investors. The cleantech company brings clean energy to private households, from heat pumps to solar systems, and now also offers software-controlled energy management. The start-up has also acquired specialist companies from the trade sector. Before founding 1Komma5°, Philipp Schröder managed the battery storage manufacturer Sonnen and was head of Germany at the e-car manufacturer Tesla.
